The analytical study examines ways to reform the system of public administration of scientific institutions in Ukraine, organization, and redistribution of powers and responsibilities to increase the effectiveness of their potential in implementing priorities of socio-economic development, effective and responsible use of state property, improving the system of upward mobility, as well as a systematic approach to the implementation of policies in the field of international scientific and technical cooperation. The results of the study will help to achieve a number of goals set out in the Roadmap for Ukraine’s integration into the European Research Area (ERA-UA), which was approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in March 2018.
