For admission to the EU market, products must meet established quality and safety requirements. The authorized bodies of the EU control compliance with such requirements by taking market surveillance measures. According to the Association Agreement with the EU, Ukraine must harmonize national legislation in the field of market surveillance with EU norms.

This study aims to reveal the main changes and risks that Ukrainian exporters may face after the entry into force of the new EU market surveillance rules.
