The Eco-camp was attended by about 50 representatives of ATCs of Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, and Kirovohrad regions, who passed 5 training modules during the first half of 2019 and received all the theoretical basis needed to develop and implement local action plans for waste management.

As part of the Eco-camp, representatives of the pilot communities worked with a team of facilitators as part of a facilitation game on waste management on the local level, using modern design thinking techniques. Participants also had the opportunity to meet and share experience with experts in various fields of waste management.

During the event, participants watched a theatrical performance on the environmental issue “The 7even” and took part in a specially designed audio walk.
